The FAQ

Got questions about the Summit? Browse through our FAQ for quick answers on event details, registration, shuttles, and more. If you don't find what you need, feel free to contact us!

1. How to get to the Quoin Rock venue and back?

Quoin Rock is located approximately 50 minutes outside of Cape Town, so please give yourself sufficient travel time to get there.

Our guests are welcome to drive or Uber to the venue, however, if you prefer not to drive or use Uber, we have organised shuttles departing from Cape Town to the venue and back on the day. To check shuttle times and register, please click here. Kindly note only guests who reserved a spot on the shuttles will be able to use them.

If you choose to Uber from the venue on the evening of the event, we strongly suggest you pre-order your Uber to avoid any delays.

2. Is there parking available?

Yes, there will be limited free parking available at the venue.  However if you are planning to enjoy a glass of wine with us, we highly recommend Ubering or utilising our provided shuttle services.

3. What time should I arrive?

Registration and refreshments start at 8:30 AM (SAST), with activities commencing at 9:45 am (SAST). We recommend arriving early to ensure you don't miss any of the day's events.

4. What is the dress code?

The dress code is smart casual. Considering the warm summer weather in the Cape Winelands, we suggest dressing accordingly. The weather is currently expected to be around 30 degrees celcius (+-), so please feel free to bring a hat and sunscreen for the time you will be outdoors.

We also highly recommend no heels, please wear shoes suitable to be worn on grass as lunch and post-summit activities will be taking place on the lawns.

5. Who can attend?

Only invited and approved registrants will be able to attend the event on the day. If you have received a confirmation by COB Monday, February 29th, we regretably can’t have you join us this time around.

6. Am I allowed a plus one?

We do not cater for plus ones at the summit. All guests must register individually, and registration is subject to approval.

7. What if my registration has been declined?

If your registration is declined, it means we're at capacity for the respective category or you have not received an authorized invitation. You've been added to our waitlist, and if a spot opens up, our team will reach out to you.

8. What if I can no longer attend?

If you can no longer join us please go to your confirmation email and click on “event page” at the bottom of your email. On the page, you will find the “no longer able to attend? Notify the host by cancelling your registration” section. Since spaces are limited please notify us so we can allocate your spot to someone on the waitlist.

9. What is the agenda for the day?

You can explore the Wine & Venture Summit agenda here.

10. How can I stay updated on any last-minute changes or announcements?

For any announcements or changes, we will contact you via the email address you used when registering. If you have any other questions please email us at hello@counder.com. We will gladly get in touch with you.
